Mary’s Helping Hands is the vision of Frederick L. McQueen, Senior Pastor of The Sanctuary Covenant Christian Fellowship (SCCF) and Vanessa L. McQueen, his wife and co-pastor.
Over the past 16 years, SCCF has been a contributor to the communities of Cincinnati, Fairfield, West Chester and Hamilton through various outreach activities. SCCF has distributed more than 1,000 backpacks filled with school supplies and more than 400 Thanksgiving food baskets and Christmas baskets filled with toys, gifts and food since 2003.
Mary’s Helping Hands is named in honor of two outstanding women – Pastor Frederick’s mother, Mary McQueen and Co-Pastor Vanessa’s mother, Mary Green. Both women were exceptional examples of sacrifice and service – first to their families – and then to their communities. They gave of themselves unselfishly, setting a standard that is now a model for their children.
We now carry this legacy forward by reaching out into our community and serving those in need. In so doing, we continue to reveal the power of love and example of service to the next generation.
Mary’s Helping Hands is the result of great sacrifice and service of some very giving people.
SCCF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Mary’s Helping Hands is a program of SCCF and therefore all donations are tax deductible. We are grateful for partners who are committed to our success.
